Museum Appreciation Night
Celebrate the Jack Hadley Black History Museum, Thomasville History Center, and Pebble Hill at The Bookshelf on Tuesday, September 10 from 5 - 6 p.m. at Museum Appreciation Night! 10% of your purchase during the event will go directly to your local museums.
Museum Appreciation Night will begin with a brief welcome from our staff, followed by wine, light bites, and mingling with museum representatives and community members. Drop in between 5 - 6 p.m. and join the fun!Â
We’ll have curated book displays reflecting each museum’s unique identity available for sale. 10% of your purchase during the event will be donated evenly to all three museums. You can also make a donation directly to the museums.Â
The release of the book A GATHERING OF STRANGERS: WHY MUSEUMS MATTER by Maria Balshaw on September 17 inspired us to host a drop-in, happy-hour-style evening of appreciation for Jack Hadley, Thomasville History Center, and Pebble Hill.Â
Support your local museums and local bookstore at Museum Appreciation Night on Tuesday, September 10 from 5 - 6 p.m.! See you at The Bookshelf.
